ZAM Network LLC (doing business as Fanbyte) (“ZAM”, “we”, “our”, “us”) is a company with principal offices at 12777 West Jefferson Blvd – Building E, Los Angeles, CA 90066, USA, and is the data controller for the purposes of data protection law. The Privacy Policy explains how ZAM collects, uses, and otherwise processes information we obtain through your use of our products and services available on our website www.fanbyte.com or any other websites, apps, pages, features, advertising functionality, or content we own or operate (collectively, the “Services”). ZAM is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tencent Holdings Limited, a Cayman Islands company, and operates independently of Tencent. This Privacy Policy does not apply to websites that simply name ZAM or have our logo on them.
If you do not agree to the processing of your personal information in the way this Privacy Policy describes, please do not provide your information when requested and stop using the Service. How we share your information
We share your personal information with third parties in accordance with applicable laws. Situations where this occur are:
Third parties that provide services in support of the Services, which may be located globally, such as: cloud service providers, payment processors, customer support and customer relationship management service providers, service providers to facilitate survey creation, distribution and analytics, and to administer prizes and delivery of prizes, ad networks, marketing providers and ad screening providers, document and contract management providers, social media providers and social media management solutions, and performance, analytics and security monitoring services.
Companies within our corporate group who process your personal information solely for the purpose of providing the Services to you. All such group companies may only use your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Other users of the Services will be able to see certain information about you, such as information in your posts and uploads. Similarly, public posts, and any personal information in them, will be accessible via search engines or similar services.
Social networks or other partner websites with your permission. Certain functionalities of the Services will allow you to share information, including personal information, with social networking websites, such as Facebook. Their use of the information will be governed by their privacy policies, and you may be able to modify your privacy settings on their websites.
Advertising partners
When you use our Services, we and our third party advertising networks and their partners may use cookies and similar technologies to provide and personalize our Services and to provide targeted advertisements. For example, when you use our Services, we share information that we collect from you, namely your email address (in hashed form), IP address or information about your browser or operating system with our identity partners/service providers, including Epsilon, Facebook and Google. Specifically:
- Epsilon uses this information by matching it with an online identification code from its database that, upon obtaining your consent, we store in our first-party cookie for our use in online, in-app, and cross-channel advertising. Legal reasons
We may share your information with law enforcement agencies, judicial authorities, regulators, or other organizations if legally required to do so, or if we have a good faith belief that such use is reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, processes or requests. Unfortunately we may not be able to seek your consent to or notify you in advance of such disclosure.

Unfortunately, the Internet cannot be guaranteed to be 100% secure, and we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you provide to us through the Services or otherwise via the Internet; any transmission is at your own risk. Children’s privacy
We do not knowingly collect, maintain, or use personal information from children under 13 years of age (or in the case of a region where the minimum age for processing personal information differs, such different age), and no part of the Services is directed to children under such age. You should refer to the laws in your jurisdiction to ensure you are above the relevant legal minimum age.
If you learn that your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, you can alert us at privacy@zam.com. If we learn that we have collected any personal information from children, we will promptly take steps to delete such information and terminate the child’s account.
International data transfers
We may transfer data outside of the location in which you are based for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
We have servers for the Servers in the United States. We also have support, engineering and other teams who may support the Services, including from the United States, Canada, Serbia and Australia. Certain personal information may also be stored and processed by our third-party partners and service providers on their servers and in accordance with their privacy policies.
For EEA/UK users, transfers between our affiliates and to third parties use applicable safeguards, such as incorporating standard contractual clauses or taking into account adequacy assessments.
Data Retention
We do not keep your data for longer than is necessary to fulfil the relevant purpose described above unless we are required or permitted to do so under law.

Erasure: to erase your personal information in certain circumstances. We may need to retain personal information if there are valid grounds under data protection laws for us to do so.
Restriction of Processing to Storage Only: to require us to stop processing the personal information we hold about you other than for storage purposes in certain circumstances.
Objection: to object to our processing of your personal information.
If you ask for the deletion of your account, we will delete your profile information. Prior posts will be de-identified.
Complaints:
In the event that you wish to make a complaint about how we process your personal information, please contact us in the first instance at privacy@zam.com and we will endeavour to deal with your request. This is without prejudice to your right to launch a claim with a relevant data protection supervisory authority.
Withdrawing Consent & Marketing:
To the extent provided by applicable law, you can withdraw any consent you previously provided to us at any time, including consent for electronic marketing communication. You can do this by emailing privacy@zam.com. We will apply your preferences going forward. In some circumstances, withdrawing your consent to our use or disclosure of your personal information will mean that you cannot take advantage of certain or all of our Services.
Announcements: We may from time to time send you announcements when we consider it necessary to do so. These are essential system and service-related announcements and you are not able to opt-out of these notifications, which are not promotional in nature.
Changes to our privacy policy
We will revise this Privacy Policy if our privacy practices change, so review it periodically.
